In the days before mechanized looms, Russian women would while away the hours pumping the treadle, spinning wool and flax to make clothing to protect against the harsh Russian winter. Approximately 39"e; tall. A beautiful display piece.

MiG pilots used these instruments, vintage '60's-'80's, for calculating time, speed and distance problems, from low to Mach speeds. Flight computer (right), 8"e;x7"e;, is hard plastic with metal protractor arm/bearing circle and comes with canvas case. Log books (left), vintage '50's-'80's, allow pilots to log missions and calculate flying times and ETA's. They feature an elaborate knee-board, leg strap and carrying case and contain a built-in time and distance flight computer. Engraved with Soviet A.F. wings and serial number. 5½"e;x4"e;. Both items are in excellent, lightly used condition. They are increasingly rare and we have very few to sell.

These 19th-century lamps radiate charm and character. Imagine staying up 'til the wee hours reading Tolstoy (or Grisham) by lamplight. (Imagine how much oil you'd need for War and Peace!) Cast-crystal base (colors vary) and blown-glass globe. Advance the wick for more light; retract it for less. Great for those romantic evenings or just kicking back with a good book. A new twist on power outages/emergencies, too (oil not included).

We've commissioned master artisans in Poland to craft these extraordinary replicas, historically accurate in every respect. Hand-forged from steel and accented with leather and wood. Polish officer's ceremonial saber, displaying a highly detailed eagle-head pommel and the words "God, Honor and Fatherland," in Polish, engraved along the blade. King Jan III Sobieski saber with detailed bronze eagle pommel and the words "Praise be to God," in Polish, engraved along the blade. 18th-century Polish Carabella, with bronze and wood hilt and the words "Stanislaus Augustus King Anno Domini 1764," in Polish, engraved along the blade. Early 20th-century officer's saber, with bronze eagle-head pommel and the words "God, Honor and Fatherland," in Polish, engraved along the blade. 17th-century Polish Hussar's saber, featuring an ornate hilt, intricately engraved thumb guard and the words "Jesus, Mary and Joseph, save me" and "Hussar," in Polish, engraved on each side of the blade, respectively. Blades approximately 32"e;-36"e; long. They'll look great in your home or hanging on your office wall! An excellent addition to any collection. Great above the fireplace, too!

These classic wool pea coats were commissioned by the East German Navy during the 80's for issuance to their ensigns. With German reunification, these coats (and other terrific East German military gear) became Cold War surplus in a Berlin warehouse. We made an extraordinary buy, and are passing the savings along to you. 100% wool, lined. With original lapel boards. Brass buttons replete with double-fluted anchor.
