This machine was produced in 1919 by the Domestic Sewing Machine Company which was acquired by White in 1924 who continued to manufacture these machines for Sears & Roebuck. It features beautiful scrollwork and gilt stenciling on the body of the machine. Mechanism: Machine bobbin is still threaded and needle moves freely as does the wheel. Bobbin winder is untested but moves freely and appears to be working. Stenciling: Good but with wear. Scrollwork: Very good but would benefit from polishing. Missing: Belt for take up wheel. |
