Each leaf and vine is carved on every side giving the appearance of a beautiful creation of nature. This box is carved from Pear Wood, a very hard wood which is available in only one area of Georgia near the Armenian home of the artist. The piece measures 8 1/2" X 6 3/4" X 5 1/2".
