This beautiful lamp is crafted from various species of hardwood. Each piece is specially
cut and handselected by the craftsman, Jim Johnstun. The pieces are then glued to form
a block of wood which is turned on a lathe.

We have never counted the pieces of wood in this lamp, however, the table on which
it sits has 13,743 pieces representing 38 hardwood species.
